Thank you 🙂 it is… and at the same time it makes you feel humble ..
groetjes from across the pond 🙂
You create a eerie scene of loneliness (perhaps it is good, or perhaps it is a sadness). Really might depend on what mood I am in when I read the poem I think. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you kindly for your lovely response. At night at sea can be very peaceful 🙂
I love that soft, enveloping darkness. Interesting, that shadows only exist where light and dark collide. When it is totally one or the other, they can’t exist.
Thank you again, Eric 🙂
To be at midnight on a boat in the middle of a languished sea is indeed very peaceful and it’s very dark around you.
I’m happy my poem made you think and it sure would be nice to know what the outcome of your thoughts might be .
Ciao, Francina
I love this simple, transportive imagery and the magical atmosphere that arises in these words!

Francina,
This is good, another of your poems that make me/let me see and feel the scene.
Thank you, Alan, for your lovely comment 🙂
Ah, summer is not here yet in Wisconsin, but the peace of this makes me long for what is coming along Lake Michigan’s shore.
Thank you again, Thomas! Wishing you lovely summer days at the lake, it is very beautiful too.

The sound of silence. Hard to find. It comes alive in your words.
Thank you, Tim, for your visit and your much appreciated comment!
It is so dark that even shadows don’t exist…Hmmmm…that is absolute – peace, calm, void…Hmmmm. Makes one think.
Thank you again, Eric 🙂
