  1. Double-like on so many of your poems. WONDERFUL. Lovely voice here. I like the repeat of the leaves falling. Is there a reason for the “when” in the second stanza? How do you like it without?

    1. Thank you kindly for your time taken and your much appreciated two cents. I think we can only learn when we are open to positive feedback. I have re read the sentence from out your point of view, and in English it’s a better option indeed . In Dutch it’s not possible to skip the word “when” due to the grammar of our language. 2. Such a beautifully soothing post! The beauty of the changing of seasons, is that nothing really dies, for as the essence of the leaves soon fade into the ground becoming dormant with their spirits attach to the roots of the tree and like the phoenix come to life from their sleep again in the Spring. I love your post Francina!

  3. aloha Francina – that last stanza – “but the leaves, the leaves fall so silently” yeah I like that. the poem has the sense of autumn taking place within the music of the wind – and silence. cool. and good autumn to you. aloha.
